Matt Ferguson was born and raised in western Canada and presently makes his home in Asia. He graduated from university with degrees in Political Science and Communications and has spent the last few years working, traveling and walking the earth like Caine in Kung Fu. Disillusionment with and indifference towards his life in the West has led him to destinations far afield. Amongst the places he has lived and worked most recently are Warsaw, Poland; Seoul, South Korea; Beijing and Shanghai, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Matt has seen many a wondrous thing, some of which he has been fortunate enough to capture visually. He has also, however, witnessed many sights that should give the average westerner pause for thought, reflection and gratitude. These photographs can only pay fleeting homage to a fraction of the sights, sounds, smells and emotions (both good and bad) of his journey so far.
